What's your doubt?
Will I be locked in?
Stopping a policy early can cost you, and the rules differ by plan. Before you decide, I show you the lock-in and surrender rules in LIC's own documents. For a policy with a term of one year or more, you also have 30 days from receiving the policy document to return it. The refund is the premium less the proportionate risk premium for the cover period, the medical-exam cost and stamp duty.
Do you collect or touch my premium money?
No. You pay LIC directly through its official channels. Your premium never goes into my account.
What happens to my family if I'm no longer here?
The person entitled to the money, usually your nominee, makes the claim with LIC. I help your family with the forms and documents, step by step. LIC decides and pays the claim.
Which number should I trust?
